Many Climate Change deniers point out the fact that 2006 ended-up being a very quiet year for Atlantic hurricanes. While that is true and was probably due to some local conditions, the fact is that globally 2006 was a record year for hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones. The Pacific ocean generated an unheard of number of strong storms last year. And in the last few months, there has been many category 4 and 5 storms....
