The facts surrounding the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

There is an excellent new resource explaining the science behind the IPCC report, and debunks the mythsassociated with it.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) brings together hundreds of the world’s leading scientists to study the effects of human activity on the Earth’s climate, the impacts of climate change on environment and society, and options for limiting climate change. This year, the IPCC is releasing its fourth assessment of climate change science, which shows with unprecedented confidence that human beings are changing the climate. The summary report for the first of IPCC’s three working group reports was released on February 2, 2007. This site will cover developments related to all IPCC working groups over the coming weeks and months.
